As a Navy Cadet you will be taught the necessary skills to safely operate small powerboats, including the equipment to be carried, knowledge of seamanship, simple navigation and weather.
The Australian Navy Cadets is an accredited Discover Sailing Centre under Australian Sailing Organisation, includes delivery of their training programs.
Navy Cadets are able to work towards recognised qualifications which can be issued through our Discover Sailing Centre.
These sailing and power boating qualifications are recognised outside the Cadet system and in some States the power boat qualifications are transferable to a State Marine Licence.
