As a Navy Cadet, you will have many different sailing opportunities and experiences. You may participate in sailing weekends at one of our Maritime Training Centres, learn to sail at your unit, skipper a dinghy or race other cadets at regattas.
The Australian Navy Cadets is an Accredited Discover Sailing Centre under Australian Sailing Organisation, the syllabus.
Cadets are able to work towards recognised qualifications, issued through our Discover Sailing Centre. These are qualifications that are recognised outside of the Cadet system.
Sailing across our varies fleet of vessels gives opportunity to not only learn the skill of sailing, but teamwork and leadership, as they master each position on the dinghy.
There are also competitions at varying levels, starting at unit level and progressing through to a National Sailing Regatta.
